Chef Flavas in Bartlett is closed after a fire earlier this week, but the owners hope to reopen the restaurant by late 2026.

A couple of hours after closing on Monday, May 25, smoke rose from the soul food restaurant at 6301 Stage Road. A blaze soon followed.

Co-owner Chris Moore said the fire started from an electrical outlet in the front of the 2,000-square-foot restaurant. The Bartlett Fire Department arrived and extinguished the flames, but the damage was still extensive.
