The owner of Biscuits & Jams, the owner of Cameo and Mary’s BOTE and the former owner of Edge Alley discuss the struggles, successes and realities of the industry this week on the WKNO-TV’s “Behind The Headlines.”

Flyway Brewing Co. took over the former High Cotton Brewing and Edge Alley restaurant locations near Downtown. They reopened as a combined space in November.

“A haven for the arts” returns as Java Cabana reopens, and the new owners plan to bring back open mic nights and keep the aesthetic the same. 

Memphis is the barbecue capital of the world for a reason.

“We are not going anywhere as Comeback,” said Hayes McPherson, co-owner of the Pinch District coffee shop, which will continue producing coffee sodas and locally roasted coffee. “Things are just going to look different.”
